Hi week 1 run 2 done and only one fall last night as I was running in the dark and moving over to the grass verge to let a lady pass I went head first. My only concern was it might slow the pace down on Strava. I don’t know if the run has hurt my knees or the fall. Tomorrow run 3

If you've really hurt yourself it would be better to have an extra rest day. See how you are tomorrow. Good luck 😊

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes advice on pacing, minimising impact and stretching after every run, all of which are highly recommended.

Enjoy your journey.

Glad you were able to complete your run👏✅ Well done! Take your rest days in between your runs...very important all the way through to Graduation! Hope your tumble didn’t do any damage to your knees. As Buddy says, rest them if they still painful. The runs will wait. Perhaps you need a 🔦 if you run in the dark. You don’t want to be falling!

Yes will rest today and take my sons head torch new time. My knees sound a bit like a ratchet but I think that’s me carrying a lot of extra weight.
