Played five a side last night and must have rolled my ankle or taken a kick or something - it’s feeling very sore this morning and will stop me running for a bit.
Really hope it doesn’t stop me for too long as I feel like I need to take advantage of the momentum I have at the minute.
It really was a matter of time, I have weak ankles due to injuries as a teenager (football then as well!), trail runs have been particularly dodgy at times and I’ve nearly done it a few times running.
Ah well, feet up for a few days and hopefully back to it next week.

When it’s feeling better an excellent exercise to strengthen ankles given to me years ago.. never looked back...
When you sitting watching TV or whatever use your big toe to write the alphabet on the floor. All those movements strengthen weak ankles, gently and easily🤣
Getting really frustrated, and quite worried that all my hard work is going to waste.
Haven’t run since last Wednesday, I tried to go on a run last night and hurt my ankle putting on the ankle support so gave it up - have to laugh at that I suppose 😩🤣
