I assume that you are starting C25K on 30th September once you are back from your holiday. Congratulations on at least for now going to start C25K, just take all the runs slowly, keep to the program, try and keep to the same 3 days a week rather than run every other day, it's better that way as at sometime during the week you will have two non-running days. You can repeat any runs or weeks as much as you wish to, good luck, good time to begin with the cooler Autumn weather now here.

If you want to feel better about yourself, increase your cardio fitness and improve your mental health with opportunities for doing things you never, ever dreamed of... do it.

If none of these appeal, stay on the couch 🤣

I had never ran until I started c25k. It's has lots of benefits, physical fitness , mental health benefits. Someone actually posted on here the other day that they didn't know running could make them so happy. It really does.

Just go slow and slower again if needed drink 2-3 litres of water 7 days a week not just on run days.

C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here good luck 😊

Well done for making the decision! I was going to do it with my friend, but actually I like doing it alone (less chance for humiliation! And it is just about me, no competition) although I have only done week 1! Good luck and let us know how you do!

Welcome to the forum and well done on your decision.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes all you need to know to get started.

Feel fitter, look better, be happier................I know it sounds corny, but if you browse around posts on this forum you will see it is true.........oh, and you can reduce your statistical risk of a whole host of life limiting diseases.

Most people regret not doing it years ago.

Welcome back Maz. 6th time lucky, eh? This time keep posting - after every run - and let us know your progress. We'll hold you accountable, give you a virtual kick up the backside if you start sliding and generally cheer you over the finish line. But you have to commit this time...

I’ve just completed week one and I’m doing it on my own as my friend can’t do it all the time as she has rheumatoid arthritis. I’ve found a lot of inspiration from this forum good luck x

Nobody can motivate you unless you want to do it. It's very simple.

I have not been good at looking after myself and have always intended to do lots of things BUT I am doing this. I am doing it alone I am finding that it helps me do all sorts of other things I have been putting off.

It’s a gift to yourself and those closest to you - hope you find the inner motivation to just go for it!

Hope you enjoy your holiday 🌞
