Life was so busy I ended up being out of running for a week before starting w9. Epically failed w9r1. So disappointed in myself because my mantra has been 'dont stop!' For the last 8 weeks that has got me through. I'm going to attempt w9 r1 again on Thursday. Anybody experienced this or have any advice?

I was on holiday for 1 week and it was very busy and didn't get the chance to run. Anyway my first run back felt really tough then after that it was fine. Have a rest day and try again. Don't worry. Good luck 😊😊

It was a practice run not a fail!! Rest, water, and a nice slow run next time will get you back on target & to the finish line!! πŸ‘πŸŒΉ

It's definitely a case of mind over matter - it's natural to feel disappointed, but your body won't feel much difference by missing just one week. Life always seem to be getting in the way, making us take extra days/the odd week off, but stay positive - take it slow and steady and you'll be back on top of it in no time 😊

Haven't you heard Nurse91 - there's no fails on here - every run is a training run whether you stop after 1 min or 29. And your on week 9 so that's brilliant as well. Everyone has tough runs even experienced runners and at the most unexpected of times. Mine was w7r1.

On your next time out run slowly and then... slow down a bit more! Remember that you are training not racing - the 30 minutes won't go quicker if you run faster! Enjoy the surroundings and enjoy the feeling that you can run for 30 minutes now without stopping and compare that to when you started. What you have achieved is amazing so enjoy your graduation week!
