π€£No, I didnβt run to the sound of music! However W7:1 was my best run ever. I knew I could do it. I planned it with the sunrise over the sea. The tide was in, waves crashing on the beach, the light was exquisite & the smell of the salt air filled my lungs. I just relaxed into a slow gentle rhythm, savouring the moment until the last minute when I was able to sprint to the end.
Now for that glass of water!

I have a blackberry bush at the bottom of my garden, the grandkids found it and came in covered in crushed blackberries, I thought it was funny, MrsLeeU was concerned they had eaten some elderberries or something else.
My transition to running outside should have started today but I'm not running, I need to get rid of this cold first, so if I'm feeling better tomorrow I may run in doors and then pop out early Saturday and do a run outside.
Sounds wonderful! Well done! Itβs wonderful to run outside and feel at one with the world.
Iβm still to begin Week 7. I planned to go this morning but other stuff got in the way (like taking the dog to the groomer - last minute plan)! If I donβt exercise first thing in the morning it just doesnβt happen.
WTG Annieapple, sounds like a wonderful and enjoyable run ππ. You really have cracked this ... encouraging for those of us 'behind' you.
I must confess to being a tiny bit green eyed monster as I realise reading your post that you must live near the sea .... *dream* .... *sigh* ... must be incredible.
