W6R3 - a different kind of challenge

Just back from W6R3, so pleased with myself that I managed to get through this.

Other than the runs of week 1, this was the hardest. Though,I suppose the longest run you’ve ever done always will be - again after those week one runs.

The last few runs I’ve been measuring, and I’ve been increasing my distance each time - up to 3.15km today, which I’m really pleased with.

I was a little disappointed initially to find my pace had decreased, but then, I’ve run for a longer time, I ran on all flat whereas recently I’ve had a good downhill section to finish with. So I am pleased, and I’m seeing this as great progress.

The way I look at the rest of the plan now, each week I have three goes at the same run, and I hope to beat my pace of the previous run each time.

Here’s a photo for no other reason than I’m in the routine of posting one after each run.

Keep on running!

Your pace will be a bit slower but you've got to remember you are running for longer so being slower will get you to the end of each run . Nice photo . Well done you 😊😊
