Just finished run 3 of week 6 and I ran for a total of 27 mins!!! (Pushed myself an extra 2 mins because I felt totally fine πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ) I’ve started tracking when I start running instead of counting the warm up/cool down and I’m not doing anything near 5k! So I’m feeling proud but at the same time disappointed as I’m so slow! Any tips on how to help with the pace/distance?

Well done.

If you look at this poll healthunlocked.com/couchto5.... you will see that fewer than fifteen percent of graduates manage a sub 30 minute 5k during the plan.

You are doing great, speed comes later.

Amazing you managed another 2 mins on too! Bravo! Don’t worry about the distance! It will improve in the coming weeks now you are on solid runs. My distance is about the same at this run.

Do not be worried about covering 5K in 30min. Enjoy the runs. You still have 3 weeks to go and the first idea is to run for 30mins. You are doing fine. Kick away your disappointment and gear up for W7 with a smile. All the best.

Edit: Have you heard of Dundie awards? πŸ˜‹

They are a set of awards on the US version of The Office. It has a great ceremony. 😁
