Monday's run

So I woke this morning feeling crap, sore throat, binged up, all thanks to MrsLeeU for sharing, she is thoughtful like that :)

I didn't feel up to running immediately so I waited a little bit, I had a customer presentation to do at 9am so I went down to the treadmill after that.

Short, fast run this morning, 20 minutes and used my target 5k pace for as long as I could hold it, which turned out to be 15 out of 20 minutes and I only slowed by 0.4kph for the remaining 5 minutes, will try it again when I'm not feeling like this.

I now feel great, still feel crappy from the sore throat, etc, but I've run and that's what I wanted to do.

Happy running everyone

Must be the time of year for germs to be passed about . I had a gastro thing about 2 weeks ago now I have a head cold. So like you I still went out and ran also. Well done you 😊

Well done to you too, not sure about you but I do tend to get grumpy if I don't run.

Chicken soup tends to be too high in salt for me BUT Morrisons do a Mexican Chicken and Bean soup on the healthy range, quite nice too.

That one I just mentioned is from morrisons where I live and it's ĺow in salt and tastes really good
