Thanks for Monday's advice!

Thanks all for your great advice on Monday about running slower! I did WK1 R2 today (repeat of last week's wk1) and where last week and the beginning of this week I could only do 2 of the running minutes, I managed all 8 of the running minutes by running slower. I thought I couldn't run any slower than I had been, but it turns out I could. Feeling better about myself today and even though I'm still not thrilled about this exercise lark, I feel there is a path forward!

Brilliant! It makes such a difference to your confidence when you can complete a run. I am no exerciser but as the program has gone on i have started to look forward to the runs. I don't necessarily enjoy the run itself but i love the feeling after! Good luck on you journey 😊

well done Danithegirl001, you did good🙌defo keep it slow 🐢 and you will be fine. Speed may come as the weeks progress and your stamina and fitness improve but its not important now, its not a race, forget about running 5k. The aim is to get you running for 30 mins initially and this plan if you stick with it will get you there 👍😊

I’m not into exercising either but I’m determined to master this running. I’m on week 1 as well x
