Sunday morning run and I felt confident enough to do a route that I had never been down before, it was hard going compared to my other route as it was off road so I was having to focus on not going over on my ankle but it felt great to just go out and run without really worrying about making it back home within the length of the podcast. I got half way through my 3 min walk and then turned around and came back and my 2nd 10 min run felt amazing!
Feeling a little apprehensive about no longer doing intervals and instead building on the time i am running for but also feeling excited and proud of what I have achieved.
And... my aftershokz were amazing and so comfortable compared to my old headphones so well worth stopping smoking!

Well done you, you're really powering through the plan. If I'm not careful, you're going to overtake me!!
Not having any more interval runs does make me a little nervous too, I like the walking bits, but I know running without stopping for 20,25,28 and then 30mins will be such an incredible achievement! I think we can officially call ourselves runners (as opposed to runner-in-training)
Love that you've managed to stop smoking too. I'm sure each day you go without is a huge achievement so keep patting yourself on the back. You're doing amazing! And am I right to understand you've managed to buy your new headphones from the money you saved not smoking? That's awesome!!!!
Thank you... I changed my running days so that I can have a rest day tomorrow and run on Tuesday when I am away with work. Then going to have a 3 day rest before parkrun and W7R1 so no fear of me overtaking you
Yes you are correct, I bought my new headphones with the money that would literally have gone up in smoke... next on the list is a pair of Brooks running shoes
I bought the trek air ones as when I did a comparison they were the lightest... they all looked pretty similar but the newest ones were quite a bit more pricey
