Well done you πππ the hardest part is starting.. follow the plan it really works and slowly does it.. be positive ..you will get great support on this forum.. it has been amazing helping me continue the plan π
Well done, what an achievement congratulations π
What a great thing to start, you might not see a lot of weight loss just from running but you will tone up and start to lose inches good luck
There was a chap on our local news who ran GNR on Sunday, having lost 10 stone with diet and exercise, so definitely possible. Good luck!
Well done on starting. Keep going and stick to the plan. You donβt lose too many calories running initially. But it will help support a healthy diet. Weight loss is 90% food related and 10% exercise. Best of luck.

C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here.
You may not see much weight loss/inches lost until your running the longer runs 3x per week. You have to be very mindful of what you are eating and drinking also. Start by writing everything down that you are eating and take it from there and be patient. Good luck π
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Enjoy your journey.
Keep going! We newbies can do this together! π
Welcome and well done! Just keep chipping away at it, and don't be afraid of repeating some runs or weeks if you want to. I stopped and started the programme a couple of times before graduating, and I think that slowing down my progress sometimes was the key to my success this time. Your experience may be different. I have a fair bit of weight to lose, too, and haven't lost much so far but my body shape has changed and, my god, the fact that I can run for 45 minutes now (that's how long it takes me to run 5K) is unbelievable to me! Your heart and lungs will thank you first, & your waist will catch up later. Good luck with your next run
