Did my first park run since graduating yesterday at Basildon. Great experience but 46 minutes is nothing to shout about. I can only get better. He ha. For aanyone a bit nervous like I was, no need, great bunch of like-minded people having fun and getting some exercise. Go and enjoy. I am also aching like hell but it's worth it.

Well done on 1st parkrun. Time is ok. I've only done 2. The 1st was slower in part to just getting used to it. On the latter my error time wise was starting too far back thus struggling to get past folks and pacing myself with other runners.

Well done on completing your first parkrun. You say it's nothing to shout about. Could you have ran for 46 minutes 9 weeks ago. You are doing great. Well done you 😊😊

I’d shout about it... well done. It’s not about running fast, or setting a PB every week... it’s about enjoy yourself and starting the weekend in an amazing way. Times will fall as you progress, but they should never really matter... so shout about it, tell you friends, tell everyone... get them to do C25K and get some of that parkrun experience.
