Smashed it, still can’t believe I can run this far, must be getting fitter, my heart rate doesn’t go up as high when I am running and recovers quicker 😃

Well done, i’ve noticed that too my heart rate is much lower when running which must be good

I hate to correct Buddy34 but it all starts with getting off the couch and deciding to start C25K. The first runs are definitely the hardest ones though.

During my recent 60 minute run I had an average heart rate of 140bpm, my heart rate recovers better than I ever thought it would, I also have a resting heart rate of 51-54 bpm.

I may still be grossly overweight but I can honestly say I must be getting towards being a healthy fatty if there is such a thing. :)
