Week 6 run 2

Have now found that if I’m due to run no matter the weather I still go out running. Soo I got a bit soggy tonight but don’t care I just wanted to complete my run. 🤣

Running up some hills but taking it steady and can honestly say I can feel I’m managing these if I take them steady.

Loving the fact that I’m focused and feeling my fitness is improving. It’s all good.

Hi,

Thank you. How are you doing with your running???

Did you enjoy your chippy the other night?. I’m sure I could smell it & was envious. 🤗

That chippy was great for the soul!

I did the same run as you today and found the first interval tough at the end, second one was much smoother, I’m assuming I was slightly too fast on the first one.

Lol chippy was good for the soul??? I love that.

I suggested the chippy to my other half and got a blatant NO. 😨 That’s cause we are healthy eating at the moment. I mean really 🤨

You know I’ve been thinking about this. If I set my pace and manage run one I’m gonna manage the second run. It’s definitely down to the pace.

I find I always want to run hard on run one but if I do I know I won’t manage run 2. However at end of run 2 I find I can speed up to finish.

I agree, I’ve never talked myself of running, which surprises me! It’s addictive I think x

Nice one - rain and hills! Can you imagine that a few short weeks ago? 😀

You’ve also completed all the intervals runs now too. All you have stretching ahead of you are lovely long ones, where you find your happy pace and a comfy breathing rhythm, and simply run!

Good luck! 😀

Yes who would have believed it a few weeks ago.?

Wish I had started running years ago. I’m really enjoying running and yes getting into a pace, steady breathing and I feel I can run quite comfortably. Next run is for 25mins and feel pretty confident I can do it.

I know what you mean! I’m mid-50’s and I’m thinking of all those wasted non-running decades! If only we knew how fabulous it was!

Good luck with the 25 minutes, you’ll smash it! 💪😀👏
