So I was poorly yesterday and had to cry off run 2 of the week, but today back on the horse
Finished my 2x 8 minute runs without too much trouble, in fact the hardest bit was where I slowed to a walk halfway- anyone else ever find that? However 5 minutes walking was enough to recover from that blip, and the second run was fine.
Cant believe I've come this far in less than 5 weeks, roll on run 3 at the weekend

Well done to you too 😁 Yeah we've got run 3 under control (telling myself that I can do it and am not scared!)... when are you planning to give it a go?
Yeah I'm really impressed with the plan so far. I've run in the past, similar approach (intervals of running/walking) but without that structure, and it took me so much longer to get to where I am now
Or you might not, since the plan I’ve enjoyed all but one of the interval sessions I’ve done. Maybe in the middle of the plan I was looking ahead a little too much, wanting those just running ones. Wether it’s tough or not, you’ve proven you can get through it... same mental strength will get you through.
Well done! It seems a big jump for week 5. I couldn’t believe that I did Run 2 on Wednesday and now getting my self mentally ready for today at about 5.30pm when I will go on the third run of the week! The dreaded W5R3! I will do it! I’ll let you know!
Keep reminding myself that I must drink lots of water at work today!
You'll be great! But yes lots of water is good I've got a day's rest before I need to worry about that, gonna make the most of it! Let us know how you get on
