Well done on completing r2. You certainly did the right thing by going swimming . Any non impact exercise on a rest day swimming, walking will do you good. 😊

Great job! Next you can add a cycle in for a triathlon!!! Swimming is great cross training, but my hat is off to you... no way I could have swam even a length after that run! Enjoy closing the week out.
I already cycle..next yr I've signed up to do Paris to Geneva 😱 Did the first leg London to Paris last year.
I've started the C25k to try and lose bit of weight before then 🤞

I found the same and as I’m at the gym I have always gone for a swim after the workout.. I find it really helped loosening the legs too .. I actually love the swimming after now.. it’s such a lovely relaxing feeling after the running 🏃♀️

Well done.
Swimming is probably great after a run, but I thoroughly recommend doing the static stretches linked to in the guide to the plan immediately after every runhealthunlocked.com/couchto5... as this eases contractions, improves blood flow and recovery and avoids carrying those tensions into the next run.
