Parkrun #2

My first Parkrun a few weeks back was done in 41 mins and 37 seconds. Yesterday I really wanted to beat that time. I can't run the whole thing so I did walk some, but I managed 38 mins and 24 seconds. Southampton is a huge Parkrun and I came 962nd! πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚ I hope everyone else was happy with their runs.

You took just over 4 minutes off your time that's brilliant. You should be so pleased . Well done you 😊😊

That is a large parkrun angie31964, more like a event 5 or 10k run, you did very well indeed to beat your previous time by about 4 minutes. 😊 πŸƒ

Thank you. Yes it is massive but it means I can hide out at the back and not worry about holding anyone up. πŸ˜©πŸ˜‚

Just realised I made a mistake. I did the first run in 41 mins not 42. So not as big an improvement as you all thought. My bad.

Don't worry about that Angie, as you say you can hide out at the back and not hold anyone up but in the future you will be able to run from about the middle of the pack and overtake other runners. 😊 πŸƒ
