Done my first Parkrun since graduating last week and shaved a few seconds off time but found my breathing very difficult at times this weeks time was 32:31 so still happy I finished and glowed after getting my breath back. Just repeating week 9 R3 twice a week and then Saturday Parkrun to keep me fit.

Good time for your first parkrun, your breathing was a bit difficult probably due to running too fast, nevertheless with proper training things will improve.

AlMorr’s right. Colder weather can also affect breathing. Well done for getting out there !

Hi BCK, Alan here, I hope you are well and looking forward to continuing with week 2 of C25K, hopefully you have sorted out things with your family regarding Christmas, talking about Christmas try and compose or write poems about running set to Xmas songs, remember you are the poet in residence here on healthunlocked C25K. 😊

Yes, I wasn't expecting any poems about Christmas mantras yet, you are correct, December is the time for that.

No harm in being prepared. It must be the Boy Scout in you !

Well done.

Try doing your W9R3 runs at a nice gentle pace, building stamina and strength and keep the pushing hard for parkrun.

I did a Parkrun last week and I found it really tough to get my breath. I think it was the very cold air that got me ❄️, not good and a bit of a surprise!

Yes I hope it was just the cold air but I really struggled a bit to catch my breath...but got there in the end thanks
