Well I did it! Parkrun tourist at the Eden project. What a unique place to run for my first parkrun. Yes there are hills and on the second lap I walked a bit on these but so did some others. I really enjoyed it and so glad that I went. Bonus is that runners and family can stay in the project for free, so we had a leisurely look around after the run.
Thanks for the encouragement.

That’s fantastic 1st park run well done you I’m so glad you said about if you go with family to support your running and you all stay for free because we are going to st ives next year and would love to do this run as we are staying 2 weeks we went this year but we went for a week at Newquay and went Saturday to Saturday so I unfortunately didn’t get to do it but next year definitely will be doing it thank you for the info 😉👍
A quick question you said family can go in the park for free where do they watch the park run from do you just tell them you are there for parkrun to get in free we visited in July this year and upgraded to annual pass but it expires the second week we are there and the Saturday before we’d be travelling down. Many thanks 😉👍
Hi. The run starts near the banana coach park and spectators can watch from anywhere on the route. The run Marshall's told us about it being free, the park itself doesn't open until 9.30 apparently so spectators and runners are already in. Everyone seemed to gravitate to the cafe for coffee and cake afterwards! No problems.
