Well that's run 2 of week 9 done and I can't believe it's nearly the end !
When I started back in May this seemed a long way off and quite frankly I doubted whether I could actually do it. A few hiccoughs along the way ( work, family illness and bereavement + a little time on the injury couch ) and here we are planning the graduation run for Tuesday next week.......and then a few days away in Budapest to visit my son and his fiance ( should I take the running shoes ?..maybe a quick run along the banks of the Danube might be nice?),
To anybody just starting all I can say is that this programme is fantastic and it works! There is so much advice and guidance out there and the posts by various peolle have been truly inspirational at times. Don't let anybody say you can't do this because you can and you will.
Good luck to all you runners out there, I am proud to be part of this community with you and wish you many happy running miles!

Massive congratulations on a fine achievement 🥇⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would take the shoes - you don’t have to use them but at least you’ll have the choice ! Have a lovely holiday and happy running 😀
Thanks for your reply.....will probably táke the shoes as my son has offered to take me to his gym, not quite the Danube but stíll nice to send the time. Happy running to you alsó.
Yes, take the shoes! You can’t see the Danube and think “I should have brought my shoes” unless you’ve checked out the availability of a specialist running store in Budapest of course.
You’ve been through a lot on your journey, and here you are still standing and ready to close it out. Well done. Enjoy that graduation run.
Thanks for your reply.......in fact my son has offered to take me to his gym whilst we are there so perhaps I will take them......as you say don't want to be saying "I should have brought the shoes....". Will wait and see how the graduation run goes on Tuesday. Thanks for your support, it really does help
