I did it!!!

I posted yesterday about how much I was dreading this. But I got up early, forced some positivity and determination into myself and went out and did it.

I thought I might have slow down for the second half but carried on at my usual speed.

So excited for the remaining weeks and so proud of myself.

For any of you still to do W5R3, you can do it. It’s a mental challenge, physically you can do it

Well done.

Elite runners tend to employ negative splits....... meaning that the first half of a run is deliberately slower than the second half.

Stay slow for W6R1..............it catches many out.

Congratulations! This was my favourite run of the programme: I wept and finally started to let myself believe that I could be a runner. Enjoy the post-run glow 👍

Wonderful! See what a little faith can do! It's a great feeling, I still remember my W5R3 as my favourite point in the programme!

Enjoy that buzz! 👍🏻😁

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃 😊
