Well I flumped my way around Cannon Hill Parkrun today. I ran/ walked it because about 3.3km is still my max running but I feel quite chuffed. My time didn't seem to me to be too outrageous and I might try it again in a couple of weeks....
I noticed that running in a crowd made me run faster...but I missed the headspace I get on a solitary run.

Well done getting out there, and also being sensible and not overrunning. We can’t see your time, but I can tell you it was great, and you’ll have fun bringing it down as your runs get a little bit longer.
If you’re looking at running it every couple of weeks or so, you’ll still have lots of runs with that headspace too. Happy running.
Don't wait to graduate before you try parkrun. I started parkrun a few weeks ago as a walker and was inspired by the other walkers and walker/runners to start C25K.
