👍🎈I hope you hear from others for whom this year is special & just a reminder how much we value those who work in the NHS especially our nurses! Thank you!
Thank you Annieapple, I have heard from others, as I seem to have posted this on 5 and 10k forums. Don't know how, it must have been all the 80's music 🤣🤣
I was still at school I the 80s. I started high school in 81 - I remember feeling so grown up going to school on my own and spending my Saturday’s in the local town buying records or cheap jewellery or make up. I generally run to 80s music. I love it.
1981 wasn’t particularly significant for me, I think I was just going into 3rd year junior school so what they call year 5 now. Generally the 80s was a great time though, and such a good time for music. We all love 80s pop, even those who weren’t born!!!
Just a quick thank you to you and all NHS workers.
I was not doing anything significant then.... I was a young adult having great fun... Dressing like Adam, which was fun as I was a punk previously!... Music jogs ( no pun intended!) our memories to a good or bad time in our lives... Almost a diary!
Thank you for your thank you! It's cake day Thursday for my lot this week, I am a ward manager and I like to show my appreciation at least once a month.
'81? Music and fun, lots of fun. Lots of it. And l could make a decent go at running 1500m and 3000m. Lean, slim, long legs. Of course, l was having lots of fun so that was put on the back burner for a while.
