Why did I find this run harder than the last of week 5???? I am not looking forward to the next one like I used to! ☹️

Don't worry, wk6 run 1 and 2 do seem a bit tougher but just trust the plan. A lot of people post about this . You can do it 😊

It’s an odd one after the ‘high’ of W5R3 and it’s not just you! Do your stretches and remember what you have achieved! That great feeling will return!

It is just different...the runs need to be..all about discipline in our runs...Slow and steady and know you can do it!

I'm a week ahead of you and I also found W6R1 and W6R2 were tougher than I anticipated. But the good news is that I've found W6R3 and all of W7 much better! So stick with it and know you are not alone.

Just keep it nice and slow Kc and you will be fine. Maybe going back to run walk is a bit of an anti climax; it will soon be a thing of the past!

The short answer is because it is a harder workout than the last one!

20 minutes of cardio in W5R3, 21 in W6R1. Brisk walking is cardio... your body works hard when in brisk walk.

There’s also a tendency to subconsciously run a little faster as the workout appears to be easier.

No matter... you completed it, great job. Slow and steady into the next one, you can do it.
