Wow I found today incredibly hard....don't know wether it's because my legs hadn't rested enough or because it went back to walking and running.....hope I find the next one better...will have an extra day of rest before I try day 2......however I didn't stop and covered 3.7km so still a result......anyone else find it hard after wk5??

I am on week 7 day 3 and I found week 6
Day 1 the hardest of all the runs to here. After that it got better so hang on in there, you're doing great to be on week 6 😄
Well done on your run. If you look at previous week 6 posts you will see it takes lots of runners by surprise for some reason. But you did it so you are on to run 2 of the week now, the last one with walk breaks in. Graduation is not far away, keep going, enjoy the journey!
Oh, yes, I graduated about 17 mths ago but still remember this as the run I hated most! Stick with it, you will soon be back to block running again!🙂

Excellent, well done you. Over the last weeks you have been pushing and pushing, no wonder your legs are wondering what is happening. Just rest up and tackle the next run nice and slowly, relax and even enjoy it!!
It is practically the law for us to have a 'bad' as in difficult, disagreeable, no fun run at some point between here and graduation. I am sure it is good for our souls!
Week 6 seems to be the 'catch you out' week for lots of people. Many factor in a few extra rest days from week 6/7 onwards. Just keep doing what you're doing, slow and steady, the programme will keep working it's magic😊
