Yay! Wk4 completed

I did it! With runs 1 and 2 being a disaster suddenly it clicked with run 3, I upped my water intake the day before as advised by the lovely people on here, my 2 litre Evian bottle was never far from my side, and slowed right down (I didn't think going slower was possible) and bingo, run completed without any dramas! I left the house this morning feeling very dispirited and came back feeling on top of the world, today I feel proud of myself!

Thank you all for your wise words of wisdom x

Well done! Admiring your persistence.

This week has been a hard one for you but those lessons are learned. Hydration and slowing down even further are going to be just as important in the next weeks. I hope they are more enjoyable.

Welcome. We’ve all been there. It’s good to see the results when they’re like this.

Go you... well done, but please, tell me. you did not run carrying a 2 litre bottle of water???

Hydrate well every day and not just the day before a run..or on the run day :)

When you complete a run it does make you feel fantastic. I want to tell everyone !

Water is really important . And slow is what i repeat in my head when gremlins say stop ...somehow i keep going .

I felt like shouting out to the whole street that I'd managed to complete the run, although I think I may of got some verbal abuse at 5.30 on a Saturday morning! Those gremlins are swines aren't they!

Yes, those gremlins are swines ! But sometimes the run goes well and we need to remember that when gremlins strike . I count in my head too .
