That was a bit slow and we were tired, grandson came too and ran 15 minutes then raced on ahead and lay on the grass it was quite fun but not very structured
One run to go
One run to go, good luck for your graduation run Sola56, is your grandson going to run with you for that run?
Thanks, yes he is he really wants to run with us I was thinking twice a week with him and once a week with just us
Great job. These kids are quick huh? Here’s hoping he keeps running and never needs C25K! Enjoy every step of that graduation run
Yes very, his legs are about twice as long as mine, Colin went belting off and got stitch but we managed it so feel good now
Amazing those 12 year old or younger kids being able to run a parkrun sub 25 minutes without much of a effort or doing the the training that older runners have to do. , what I call natural ability.
It’s amazing and the trick is keeping them running through their teens
You both did it , you ran again for 30 minutes non stop and great your grandson could join you. Well done 😊
Thanks Buddy we are pleased
Good luck for the last run - I am sure you will enjoy the moment that 30 minutes is up ☺️
Thanks I’m sure we will
Good luck for your graduation run! 😀
I'm looking forward to your W9R3 post. You're almost there now. Good luck.
Thank you, i’ve negotiated with my partner and managed to get him to agree to the sea front rather than the park 😀 let’s hope it’s not too windy
serendipitous penultimate run (yeah I'm going to take up big words now I can run) - never to be repeated...
able to run 5k in less than half an hour. I was thinking I would run for 30 minutes for 6 more runs over...
in the 30 minute run. At about 17 minutes in, a chap was walking towards me on a narrow bit of pavement...
