Set off determined to explore a circular route I always turn back half way on as know it’s more like 6.5k but figured I’d just get to 5k and walk home. Was going to do all sorts of jazzy stuff like speed up slow down but I just found my happy place and kept going. I got to 4K on the home straight and my ol fav from around week 5 came on the play list.’Shut up and dance with me!’ I kid you not I had a grin from ear to ear and just sang along. I felt on top of world! Got to 5k at bottom of world as big up hill then down hill home so made myself run half way up going just over 5k and then walked home on air! Hee hee- happy run!! 🎵🎵🤗

Wonderful! 😀 A happy run is brilliant- I really relate to running and grinning! 😃
I really enjoy the “run out & walk home” pattern when I have time & feel like extending my exercise in a relaxing way. 😄
