Hey everyone, decided, after coming back onto the forum to go for a run anyway tonight and did a 5k. Nothing special just around my triangular route, it has cooled down but still very hot!

Owe it all to you! Good time too, going to start having to leave the watch at home as It makes me go as fast.

When I started running about 3 years ago I never knew how far or fast, It never occurred to me to check until I signed up for the GMR and even then it was only afterwards to the nearest few minutes or so using a path I would draw on google maps. GMR might have been my first timed run, now they all are pretty much. Going to have to bring a bit of that back as I go forwards. The non timing thing, not the manual map drawing thing.

Idea, get my phone to track me, put phone in backpack so I cant check it, already use bluetooth headphones (£10) and I can pause play music from them.

It was boiling in London. I did a run earlier this afternoon but had to give up halfway through (see my earlier post).

Oh wow that looks like a cool parkrun! At least you got out there and 7.75K is great! I dont think I could have run in the sun today, got through a few bottles of water on my walk and it wasn't as hot as over there.
