Hi everyone. I finished my second run of week 1 about 90 minutes ago. I enjoyed it more than I had expected, probably because it was cooler than when I did run 1. In fact the sky was black overhead but the rain held off. I have put my evening meal in the slo-cooker so it would be ready for my return. That way I was not tempted to have a quick fix of chocolate or crisps when I got in.
It also helped that this time, having read the introductory post, I realised that the bell on the audio signalled the half way point of the session. When I did run 1, I heard the bell and thought it meant run as fast as you can!!! Collapse of stout party (in many ways).
I am intending to do run 3 on Tuesday so that gives me two rest days although I will probably do a swim or go for a walk, weather permitting. So, two-thirds of the way through the first week and loving it so far Good luck to all other newbies
