Thank you for all the encouragement & advice on this site!! Although it took me 2 weeks I have at last completed W1R3

The best advice was to change from static warm ups to DYNAMIC. No further problems with my calf muscles!

Ran in the rain...ear bud fell out, glasses needed wind screen wipers but heigh ho, I did it.

Super star! The hardest bit is opening the door. Once you’re out there, you’re winning however much you do because it’s better than the couch.

Well done. Keep at it, and drop in to this forum regularly - it was definitely what got me through C25K. The biggest thing I have learned is that you are not competing, and that every run brings you something. Even if you fail to complete certain runs (which I did) when you go back and try again they seem somehow easier than you imagined. A lot of it is fear of failing, and just getting out there and trying is a success. I look forward to hearing about your progress and to congratulating you on graduating.

I completed 2wks no bother but had to stop this week because of very painful legs, knees ankles. So disappointed. Here’s hoping I can continue at some point .

Well Done youngster. I too took two attempts at week one. That was in March. I never dreamt then in my wildest dreams that I would finish the course, let alone enjoy finishing it, then keep running for half an hour three times a week too. Just follow the plan. It seems to work. Do read all the FAQ POSTS that apply in your current situation please. Then go back and read the others as you make progress. Take your rest days, drink plenty of water and watch my hero, Japanese Slow Running Man on YouTube too. Have fun.

You will be surprised how quickly these few weeks will pass. Each with lots of new “ problems”. You will solve them and press on, becoming an inspiration yourself, to those following you. Keep up the good work. Enjoy becoming fitter. PS. Baseball cap peak keeps specs dry
