Late home from work yesterday, so to run or shop? we shopped and got ready for the weekend as it’s my weekend off woo hoo

Week 9 Run 1 and smashed it this morning, slow and being buffetted by 30 mile per hour wind having to hop over the odd branch

We were barked at a couple of times by dogs and cheered on a couple of times by dog walkers

One by product of all this running seems to be tighter muscles in my face and neck which is amazing, i like what i see in the mirror and i can only think it’s because I grin all the time i’m running what else keeps you grinning for 30 minutes? lol

Well done you and you met some lovely people along the way . C25k makes me smile because without it I would never have and continue to run . Enjoy your weekend 😊😊

Thanks Buddy, we are seeing a few of the same people every so often and interestingly one guy who sat on the bench in the hot weather and jeeringly called out come on faster ha ha back a few weeks asked how many times we were going round today and kept count and was very encouraging

Glad to know it’s not just me grinning all the time

I think he earned the right to that knap! You sound like a great team (for running, not sleeping, that is). Glad to hear that your running's going well!

Thank you and yes he did deserve it, we are an amazing team considering we went for the first run with him saying “i’m not running i can’t run” and now if i get home from work saying i can’t be bothered there he is all ready to go and he is my motivation
