Well done you. Each run prepares you for the next one as does each week. Just go slow. You can so do this π

Read this and stop worrying ) take it slow and steady and enjoy the run... you are ready for each and every run
Relax was the key for me. If you've gone with plan you should be fine. If not there is always another time. Enjoy
I know exactly how youβre feeling as I only completed that run yesterday. You will be amazed at just how much you can achieve. Just go steady remember it is for 20 minutes but it is not impossible. The key is not to go too fast at the start. Pace yourself and you will do it. If I can anyone can. Let us know how you get on.
I just finished this run this morning - didn't think I could do it, but I did!! It was something Laura said on the podcast during the run: you are now fit enough to do this, and it's mental at this point. I somehow lost track of the fact that I'm getting fitter!!
I'm starting week 5 on Monday; sooo, being the eejit I am, decided to look ahead at what's in store next week...
R1 and R2 don't seem too bad [Monday and Wednesday for me], given that I managed to run for 5 minutes this past week (albeit convinced Jo had nodded off at times, as I was sure I had been running for 10 minutes or more before I heard her calming voice keeping me right lol) but I somehow managed it.
Then I looked at R3. π² Dreading it doesn't even begin to describe my feelings on the matter. My initial thought was - 25 minutes running at 5:30am on a Friday?? Then I remembered that I set what days/times I run, nobody's forcing me. π
I really shouldn't have looked ahead, and now I have to try to just focus on each day as it comes.
In saying that, a few weeks ago I didn't think I would manage to go outdoors in running gear, let alone do 60 secs at a time, and now I can manage 5 minutes running. Must remind myself of this on Friday...
I did exactly the same as that. I looked ahead. I was convinced that I couldnβt make it but after Laura said I had done 5 minutes I thought crikey that went quickly. The rest of it didnβt seem too harsh. Just go slow and steady. If I can do it anyone can. Itβs more in the mind than in the body I promise you
