Getting used to a sports bra

Just back from W1R2 😮🙃😇

Thanks so much to everyone who gently suggested running even slower following W1R1. You were, of course, totally right, and even though I felt I was kind of shuffling at times, I enjoyed it a massive amount more 😎

I visited the lovely folks at Marks yesterday to get fitted for a sports bra. Feels pretty tight while running. Is it just something I’ll get used to, or are there any tips anyone can offer? Do they kind of “wear in” over time?

My M&S sports bra is great, I zip myself in, then off I go. I could never have done this without it. You only wear it for a short time, then it’s in the wash! Happy running.

Well done MummyTum! I'm so happy to read that you enjoyed it!

Re sports bras, they stay tight. It's kind of their job to hold everything down and keep it there, so when we bounce a bit, the relevant parts don't. I have to do mine up at the front and turn it round because there isn't enough stretch in it for me to do it round the back! But I haven't had a black eye yet so it's doing a great job 😆

Shuffling is the way to go.. Its always funny when some competent fast runner goes past u, u feel like ur going backwards or running in treacle!!!... Just keep it slow and steady..... Sorry cant answer the sports bra question fortunately!!!!!

They need to control the blighters so tight is probably good - though as I approach the end of my C25K trip I’m thinking I may need a slightly smaller one. If that happens C25K will indeed be entitled to call itself a miracle!!
