So it's been over 3 months since I've been allowed to run after my foot operation. It's been hard sitting and waiting for my feet to heal but I got the go ahead a couple of weeks ago to start running again. I had a fear that i might have to start C25K again as i had been out of running for so long. I headed out to see how long i could run and managed a good 20 minutes straight. The next run I got to 25 minutes which I was also pleased with. Distance was not spectacular but I was not expecting miracles. Today i was up early so decided to go for it. Today I have managed a 5k. Ok so it took me 46mins to complete but who cares. 3 runs in I'm back on it. I'm so excited as i had signed up for my first ever 5k race at the end of August and was getting worried. It may not be the prettiest running ever but I'm back on it. HurrayπππββοΈπββοΈ
