Week8 1-2-3 done. Plus with a slower jog after run 2 & 3 made the 5K mark non-stop. Time was slow at 40/39 mins but hopefully that will improve on the 9's if not no prob. I'm getting there π

Well done, but take care extending your runs beyond the plan. You have exceeded the 10% rule used by experienced runners to increase distance/duration, which helps avoid injury.

Thanks. I started on this course due to heel problem for the 1st time in 73 yrs. That's put an halt to longish hikes for now but found I could brisk walk especially with NHS insoles with no problems. Not long ago had heel injection. Foot been ok. So I'm used to brisk walk of 6.5K in just under 1hr. Thus after all runs I've always walked to at least 5K mark. However I do take note - thanks
