W8 done!

Hi

Have just completed W8 and surprisingly it was easier than W7. I only joined the forum recently, long after I started. Weeks 1 and 2 were really hard, then a bit better 3 to 5. Week 6 I was away and climbed a big hill during the week ( on a day off) and then found the running easier, stronger legs by far. Then week 7 I struggled and thanks to support from this forum survived! Week 8 has been much easier, I think I have cracked the mind over body thing and believe I can keep going which is incredible, never thought it would happen and I would be here. I am 65 and have never run before and as I say when I started I thought it was a joke. But I am here and so happy to be here, amazing journey . Thank you everyone. Just one more week!

Your story is very similar to mine, C25K would have been a lot easier, less injuries and a lot quicker had I found this forum at the beginning! I found W9 the easiest of all. Go for it!

thanks, so encouraging!

Really good news. Well done. I just finished 7 and feeling a bit anxious about 8. So that helps :)

Of course you will! I think once you get past 6, it starts to feel like you will complete :)

Funnily enough, I found the same. I really struggled with week 7, but then week 8 and the first 2 runs of week 9 have all just worked. Good luck for next week and graduation.
