I’ve (re)started couch to 5k and managed to get to week 3 when I tweaked my right calf muscle. Saw a physio who says it’s a strain and given me exercises, took 2 week break, then physio said ok to return. Redid week 3 yesterday and on 2nd 3 minute run it went again. Anyone have similar problems? What did you do? Don’t want to give up my running as loving it and met some really lovely people.

Yes I did .. self diagnosed calf strain roundabout week 7 .. had a few days off and did calf stretches and then tried again .. it did niggle but I’ve worked through it and now all is fine but that’s just my experience .. I was pretty determined that it wasn’t going to hamper me
