Well i’m now on wk7run3 having had a year off due to an Achilles’ tendon injury which took ages to settle. I put on loads of weight and had to start from scratch. I am nearly there but so very very slow. I’m 62 and did my first C25K at age 57 having never run before. I always thought I couldn’t do it, but now know I can. It just seems even harder this time ...

Well done and welcome to this again!

Read the linked post just to remind you... I know you know what is what, but it can be useful...As ever. take it slow and take it steady...I started at 65... did my first HM this year just before my 69th birthday... :)

Relax, give yourself an extra rest day if you need it and do make sure you up some of your rest day strength and stamina exercise. This is so important for everyone and especially, us seasoned runners... keep everything going as well as the new running legs..

On you go and do keep posting please:) We need to encourage all the other runners!

Well done coming back to it after such a long time out. It doesn't matter how slow you are, slow and steady is good, it'll keep you injury free! It's been warm the last couple of weeks so we've all been complaining how hard it is too. Good luck and enjoy 👍😊
