So, got home from work soaked to the skin. I was determined to try week 6 run 3 just to see how far I got. As soon as I was in the door, I changed and headed out. The rain was biblical. One benefit of the rain was having the park to myself. I started my run and had done a couple of circuits of the park so went to check my phone and the app had stopped working! Tried running on the spot trying to sort it but it took me right out the app. Meanwhile my glasses were rendered useless as I couldn't see a thing through the rain. I definitely had run for five minutes, maybe eight? I checked the time and it was 6.30 so I decided to keep going for 15 m. So pretty sure I did 20m maybe more but I am ticking it off as a success regardless. Need to get myself comfortable attire though. Right, time for some vino.

Good run for you today Emeraldgael despite the rain ☔, nevertheless it seems the water got into your phone perhaps causing a little damage, just hope it's not too serious.

Well done you, hope you are nice and dry now 😊

Enjoy that vino 🍷 you deserve it. That would have been an easy time to quit, but you soldiered on through it. Well done Champ! 🥊

You have my sympathy! On Week 9 Run 3 the final run, my battery died on my phone! I carried on running and knew I’d completed the run as I’d done the same route a few times previously but of course it didn’t log so I didn’t technically graduate. I had to do another one this time with a full battery to get my badge. I think we all have set backs but keep going you’re doing well xx

Happened to me, too, that the app stopped. I must have touched the screen to have it stopped. Can happen.

I probably would not have gone out in the rain pouring so much, so that's an achievement in itself already.
