I went to bed last night sore and achy. Nothing to do with C25K; I did a 15km hike yesterday that involved a lot of up and down and the down left me with a very sore hip. I decided I’d take an extra rest day today and hope I’d feel good enough to try to struggle through W2R2 tomorrow. Hubby woke me with a cup of tea this morning and said he was off for a run with the dog. It would have been so easy to stay in bed with my cuppa. Surpringly,I just felt a bit stiff and had no pain so I left the tea (a great wrench) and gave it a go.

The first run was uphill - we’re on holiday in Sud Tirol, Italy - and was tough, but the other runs were great. I felt like I could have just kept going. Felt more than a little pleased with myself as I eventually had my cuppa with this view.
