I completed run 1 of week 8 yesterday and left really good - even if my headphones did pack up just after half way I was able to keep focused and knew roughly where my finishing point would be, quite refreshing to run and listen to what’s going on around me but I will be glad to have the support of Laura back tomorrow for run 2. I do have a quick question though, I’m relatively new to this forum and have seen a few posts mentioning consolidation runs, what are these? -X-.

They are runs after you finish the c25k. Basically they recommend you run for a while for the 30mins before moving onto day the bridge to10k training etc.

They are the runs you use to build up what C25K has begin... at least a couple of weeks and not just 30 minute runs... you need to mix them up to move forward.. shorter runs, longer runs ( the ones that build up stamina and strength..) and some 30 minute ones too:)
