Running trainers ??

Hi there i am looking for suggestions for the best running trainers to buy for a newbie looling to be running on roads, tracks etc

The best thing to do is to visit your local specialist running store. They’ll ask a fair few questions and then pop you on a treadmill for a minute or two, while videoing your footfall. This is known as gait analysis, and is the best way to find the right shoe for you. Some of the questions they’ll ask should include injury history and current running levels or immediate ambitions. From all of this there will be a few candidate shoes for you... and the most comfortable of those is the best shoe for you. My best shoe is so unlikely to be your best shoe, so I cannot recommend any specific ones I’m afraid.

We went to the Nike shop at a local shopping centre and they were really helpful but its running shoes rather than trainers you’re after.....I didn’t know there was a difference but there is!
