Hi

I’ve just done week 1 run 2 and it’s week 2 tomorrow so I’m a bit behind! I struggle with exhaustion and mood shifts due to hormone changes. I spent the week not able to get myself out for my planned runs but finally made the push today. Advice:- should I repeat week one this week or go on to week 2?

You can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to Cleeve81, basically if you are not satisfied with your own performance by all means repeat a run or a full week, take all your runs slow and steady 🏃🏾 👍.

Ok thank you. I’m prob going to be interrupted by hormones every few weeks!! They are a complete pain.

You should finish the 3 runs in each week before going on the the next.

Ok so I managed two of the three so I should repeat the whole week 1 do you think?

If you can complete week 1 run 3 then i would move on, I only repeated runs if I couldn't finish them.

I would finish the last run before moving on and would only repeat the week if I’d had a longish break between or if I felt I wasn’t ready to move on yet 😃

Hi and good for you for starting!

The weeks don't mean weeks per se. I don't keep to weeks as such. I have left extra days between runs so that running weeks takes a week and a half. The main thing is to do every run that it says before moving on. You don't need to complete it in a week. Nor do you have to repeat runs - you can if you want to.

Good luck with run 3 of week 1....

And then onwards to week 2.

You've got this!!!

I would agree do the last run and move on unless there’s been a big gap. Hormones are a pain in the proverbial but you may find that as you get further into this running malarkey their voice will get a little quieter as the rush of endorphins shouts louder. Good luck with it all 👍🏻

I hope so. I find exercise gets a backseat so often!
