W4R1 done! I am a fitness goddess.

Hi all, feeling very proud here now that I've survived the first run of Week Four! I took everyone's advice and slowed wayyyyy down. Until today I've been "running" at 5 mph -- so I've been gasping and panting like a dying woman. Today I dropped my speed to 4.5 mph and was surprised at how survivable it was!

Annoyingly, the man on the treadmill next to me was incredibly fit and ran at 23 mph or whatever the entire time I was bobbling along... but that's fine. I still feel like a fitness goddess today.

LittleSallyRacket, have you done your W4R1 yet? How was it?

Good for, good that you enjoyed your run, 23 mph is the speed of top athletes running in the 100 metres.

Well, he wasn't really going 23 mph. I was exaggerating for humorous effect.

Well done. It's nice when something works isn't it. (for info my treadmill doesn't even go up to 23mph ; ) )
