I just wanted to say hi (and I need a nap)! I am 52 and doing the NHS Couch to 5k partly because my daughter (who is 14) is an incredible runner, and I take her to the track or to school for cross county, so it's a good opportunity to run myself. I just finished the third run of Week 2, and I can't believe how well it's going, but I'm nervous about week 3. Maybe I'll be on week 2 forever. I am super tired after I run, unlike resistance training where I have lots of extra energy. But I am sticking with this, and hey, it's Sunday, so I can take a nap!

You’ll enjoy W3, you really feel you’re progressing - I do my final W3 tomorrow and then on to W4 on Wednesday! Happy running and liking your “name”.....on C25K, every day is a good one!! 🤣😂
Well done. Don't worry about wk3 the previous runs have prepared you for it. Not sure why you're so tired after running are you drinking plenty water 7 days a week 😊
Well done! Don't be nervous, you'll run better if you're relaxed. You can definitely do this if you're following the programme. Wonder if you're a bit anaemic if you're really super tired.
Thank you everyone for the encouragement! Going to drink more water and spinach with breakfast - let's see how that goes!
Well done for doing this in the first place. Week 3 is a breeze and each week after is more of a challenge. Like you, I thought I would never be able to do this but hey, here I am, I have completed the whole 9 weeks and hurt my foot. I wasn't able to run for 2 weeks so rather than go from where I left off, I started again. Now on week 7 and am very glad I went to the beginning. It is so encouraging once you have done the run and you will be looking back thinking, why did I doubt myself? Go on, pat yourself on the back at the end of each week run and move onto the next. After couch to 5k I intend to do couch to 25k. Bring it on.
