Sluggish, traffic, school runs, nana nap

Well today was a first. I couldn’t get going til about 12mins into run then found my rhythm.

I had to smell car fumes for second stage yuk!

I got to last 5mins and increased pace a first but was feeling good.

I then had to deal with school run mums I must have looked frightful. Home and did the normal routine exercise water breakfast. Light shower.

But after an hour I really needed to snooze. Never felt that way before. So nana nap half hour later and I am rearing to go and spent the rest of the day gardening and fine. Any ideas why this extreme tiredness happened and will it be now the same after each longer run?

I hope not as I have things to do. And can’t nana nap every time.

Jules

Probably just a one-off.

But then again, little naps are supposed to be good for you.

I would rather be exhausted at the end of the day and drop🤣

Dehydration can cause tiredness.

Sometimes, when I think to do it, I’ll fill a litre bottle with squash and take it with me out in the garden, having a drop now and then. It’s easy to forget the time and not drink when out most of the day. This is when I wasn’t running; more important now. 🙂

Yes, I drink water before and after run.

In the garden I have a bottle too.

My stamina is normally quite good I just keep going like the energiser bunny.

But running is new to me and when I up the pace I my have pushed myself too much.

I will see how tomorrow goes.

Jules.
