Can’t believe 5 weeks ago I was nearly dying after the 60 second run and tonight I ran for 20 mins.
Been dreading it all day but as soon as I started it felt so good. Had a struggle with my breathing at around 17 minute mark but come the 19 minute mark I was back to normal and couldn’t believe it when I’d done it. I do my runs around a reservoir which is 2km all the way round and I’ve been walking around it for years seeing runners fly past me and tonight I was the runner going past the walkers and it felt so Good. 😁

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃 😊
Brilliant! Thank you for posting this, it's really inspiring to hear how fellow new runners overcome challenges and achieve great things. Soon it will be my turn to tackle this run so I will take encouragement from your experience.
