Ah, it feels good to finish week5 and acutally run for 20 minutes. No way did I think I could do it, but it was actually easier than I thought. This program works! I'm thnking about doing week 5 run 2 and 3 each one more time before moving to week six. Fear of the unknown I guess....

Yep, all those of us who have been through the mighty W5R3 had the same thought. I imagine you feel great right now. Quite right too.

Here's the real thing about that run. It's not so much that it proves you can run for a 'long' time, It proves that running is as much about your state of mind as your level of fitness......

Graduation not too far away now, then.

Congratulations! We all know that week5run3 very well and it's wonderful once you have finished it! It does work! Not unless you really want to repeat week 5 but you are ready to move on to week six. nothing to fear some say it's a tricky one but I found it ok, just know you are back to intervals for 2 runs and you will be fine. Good luck with week 6

I would say don't doubt yourself and move on. You sound like you are ready for it. Give it a go!

Well done on finishing week 5. I am also an advocate of moving on rather than repeating week 5. You are ready for it. Happy running.

Congratulations! I felt exactly the same, it's a massive leap to run for 20 minutes. And every new week after (I'm on run 2 week 7) I've felt like going back and repeating something easier, but in the end I decided to follow the programme and what do you know, I can do it! So the programme does work, it's just the thought. But imagine how you will feel when you tick that 'completed' box! Good luck xx

Gosh well done KofG! I was wondering how you were getting on. The weather in the UK is just about to take a turn for worse - winter's coming with a vengeance which is really going to scupper my wk 5 runs. I'm really upset. But, its not here yet, so I'm crossing everything. I think everyone must fear that r3 so much - and yet you've done it. Wow. As you say, this programme really does work doesn't it. I've got r2 to do tomorrow and my knees are so sore. Please, please, please don't let me down body! Well done again.

Hey hey hey! You've broken the back of the job at hand! If you'd not done it then it's worth stepping back but as you've done it, don't look back, PUSH ON!!

Go for it, KofG, and shout it out from the treetops! You've done it!

Well done K, I would definitely say this is just a moment of self doubt and the head gremlins telling you youre not ready.

Kick 'em to the kerb mate and go for Week 6. You are ready, you were born ready :-D

Go for it , then you can come back on here and tell us how brilliant it was .

Good Luck to you ! :-) xxx

Oh doesn't it just feel good! Well done! :D

Week 6 is not so bad you know and although I had some warning from others on here that it can catch you out I found I enjoyed it more than week 5. But if you are already thinking of going back to an interval run with W5R2 why not just try run 1 of week 6 ;)

The 20min run always seems daunting when you see it but it isnt really , think we all though WTF?? when you have done it there is a real sense of acheivement and a huge smile no doubt :) well done i would move onto week 6 ,you have done week 5 now :D you can do it !!

Congratulations you have passed the biggest hurdle and proved to yourself you can do it. Rest of the program is a nice and steady work up to 30 min. Stick with the program there is not much to be gained by re doing a week unless you failed, don't worry no more big surprises.

Love my British buds-- So encouraging and positive. Between Laura’s encouragement on the pod casts and all the great feedback from everyone here, you just can’t fail. I think I’ll have a spot of tea then get ready for my first run of week 6 later today. Good luck to everyone in whatever week you are in….kill it!
