So, having already done this run last week due to starting the wrong podcast, I have done W8R1 again today, I may be slow but I did manage to increase pace slightly around the middle of the run/jog/waddle, finishing the last minute at my target 5k pace. I did however start with a slightly higher pace than last week.
I was meant to run yesterday but my youngest daughter reminded me that she was moving out, she's in Uni and has a house share with one of here friends 35 miles away but how could I forget that!
I have a target, 3 actually:
1. Complete C25K and consolidate - Short-term 75% complete
2. Aim and train to complete 5k in 36 minutes - Mid-term 40% complete
3. Aim and train to complete 5k in 30 minutes - Long-term not thought about %
Obviously, each one leads off of the one prior to it, once I have completed no one then 10k may take over as the long term goal.
But, as usual, you lovely people are all here, with goals of your own helping us all along, thank you.
